So here is a list of my favourite websites – a mix of retailers and general info sites.

Cath Kidston – www.cathkidston.co.uk
One of my favourite shops! I love her fabrics, they’re retro, kitch yet completely classic. I completed a dress making course a while ago, and fully intend to use my sewing skills to create a host of home made gems!

Emma Bridgewater – www.emmabridgewater.co.uk
I love her crockery! I’m slowly amassing a nice collection of her mugs. I also have a pinny and matching oven glove from her Hearts range, and wearing them makes me feel like such a good little housewife!! An awful lot of her stuff is on my Christmas list.

Not On The High Street – www.notonthehighstreet.com
I love the range of items this website sells. Everything from large furniture to little bits for the home and beautiful handmade jewellery. I also found out that my new jewellery course teacher makes items for this site, which makes me love it even more!

T.G.Green Cornishwarewww.tggreen.co.uk
There will be a lot of posts about T.G.Green on this blog! I bloomin love the stuff. It’s classic and can sit in my home, being used for years. I fully intend to be using the crockery I buy from them now until I’m old and wrinkly. It’s great quality and has such classic looks it’ll never age! Both my boyfriend and I love the stuff. My friends can’t believe how excited I get over it (apart from my friend Gemma who is also a fan!!).

The Kitchen Dresser Company – www.thekitchendresser.co.uk
This is a family run company who have been making beautiful handmade dressers for years. Their dressers are made to such a high quality and although I don’t owssn one, visiting their website and leafing through their brochure is one of my guilty pleasures!

Through The Cottage Door – www.throughthecottagedoor.co.uk
This a new website that had been launched, selling a range of kitch and shabby chic items for the home. I love their Garden section – their Gisella Graham hammock and Bradleys vintage style deck chair are gorg!

Period Living – www.periodliving.co.uk
As well as being a great magazine, Period Living also have a fantastic website. This can be a great source of inspiration (and jealousy!), especially their ‘Readers Homes’ section. It’s my dream to one day have my future shabby chic home featured!

RightMove – www.rightmove.co.uk
In the hunt for my dream shabby chic home, RightMove is my first port of call. In fact I have what some might call ‘an obsession’ with it! Checking for new houses, flicking through the pictures. Even looking about houses in the seven figure range, dreaming of what might be when my lotto numbers come up!
